So I kept thinking: what if a phone was enough? Modern phones have great zoom, solid optics, and they’re always with you.
I’ve spent 17+ years in IT and marketing and founded a computer vision company. And I’m also a surfer. So combining surf and technology felt like a natural idea to explore.

Does this replace a filmer?
Nope.
Pro filmers create magic — that’s their craft and passion. Surflens is for everyday surf tracking so you never lose footage of a good wave again. No more “that insane barrel… but nobody filmed it” moments.
How does it work?
Why use a watch? Can’t I just leave a camera on the beach?
You can — AI mode works.
But with a watch you’re the priority: better zoom, cleaner framing, more precise tracking. The watch becomes your on-board computer: positioning, coaching, surf data. We’re building toward that.
